Zapatista coffee, brought to you by the Zapatista Coffee Collective, is an organic coffee produced in the Chiapas region of Mexico by indigenous people in accordance with fair trade principles. Producers, who are part of the Zapatista movement, strengthen their economic independence with this coffee while also offering a production model that respects nature and labor.
Organic is a controlled and certified agriculture and production method without using chemical inputs.
The purpose of ecological agriculture is to protect the environment, plant, animal and human health without polluting the soil, water resources and air.
