By combining our sense of production that prioritizes health with organic food, we have entered the market with the decision that we would do “simply and only organic production”.

The most significant factor in Orvital’s growth has been, without a doubt, our valuable customers.

All Orvital products are certified by the international certification organization called IMO Control and the Turkish Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Livestock.

Being periodically audited by independent Organic Certification organizations (like SGS and Johnson Diversey), Orvital Organic Food aims to raise the awareness of the public in order to ensure that healthy generations will be raised, sustaining its growth.

Orvital was founded in 2009 by Muharrem Doğan.


Who is Muharrem Doğan


Muharrem Doğan is born in 1974, Solingen, Germany. Graduated from Middle East Technical University Food Engineering in 1996. He started his professional career at Unilever and later continued at Ülker. After his return to Turkey in 2009 Orvital Organic Foods was founded as Turkey's first organic chicken meat producer. Doğan is married with two children.

Muharrem Doğan was elected as the Chairman of the Board of the Association of Turkish Organic Product Producers and Industrialists (ORGÜDER) in 2009.

Free movement on organic soils

Organic Chicken is very different from the products referred to as Village Broiler and Natural Broiler, and should not be mistaken for these.

Our chicken move freely on the controlled area reserved for them both in and in front of their coops.

In our organic circulation areas, we have one organic chicken per 4 square meters. Within the coops there are no restrictive equipments such as cages.

The highest possible level of care is taken in our facilities in terms of animal welfare.

As a part of our principle of organic production, the circulation areas in front of the coops are certified as well as the coops themselves.

We use organic feedstuff
Orvital Organic Chicken are fed with completely organic and small quantities of natural feedstuff that do not contain GMOs (Genetically Modified Organisms).

Our organic chicken are of a special strain different than the conventional chicken, and their most significant characteristic is their rather slow development.

While conventional chicken are sent to slaughter approximately at 40 - 44 days of age, our slow-developing organic chickens are sent to slaughter at minimum 81 and an average of 90 days of age.

In terms of physical properties, our organic chicken are very different than the conventional chicken. The most prominent difference is the hard bones they have. Also, due to the fact that our organic chicken wander freely all the time, it takes longer to cook their meat.

Our organic chicken production is thoroughly audited by International Organic Certification organizations (IMO Control / CERES), and the raw materials of the feedstuff we use are periodically sent for analysis.

Orvital Organic Chicken Meat do not contain any hormones, antibiotics, pesticides or heavy metals whatsoever.

Organic Veal (Cattle) Meat


In April 2011, we have commenced Organic Veal (Cattle) Production in Ayvacik Province of Canakkale.
We feed with beestings...
In our Ayvacik facilities, our livestock mate in their natural environment and breed by themselves without any interference.

Calves that are fed with the vitamin-intensive milk referred to as “beestings”, grow in their natural environment.

We think of our children, for whom we want the best of everything, and we bring to your houses the beauties offered us by the nature, in their most natural form.

We raise in the natural environment
All our animals in Orvital wander, feed and grow in a natural farm environment.

They feed completely from the nature by eating the fruits of various herbs and trees such as of thyme, ilex, oak and knotgrass.

The taste of the meat we produce come from these curative and natural plants.

We only vaccinate our livestock; we do not use any drugs or extra treatment...
The livestock in our facilities are subjected only to the vaccines stipulated by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs.

No drug or treatment other than these are implemented.

Organic Egg


Egg is among the foodstuffs that have high nutritional value and economic price, and is easy to produce, practical to cook and accompanies numerous recipes. Having a significant role in child development, our eggs are obtained from the happy chicken of the happy Orvital Farm.

The chicken produced for slaughter and egg laying are of different strains in Orvital Farms, yet all of them are certified to be organic. Orvital chicken that wander in outdoor area, that eat whenever they want and are not subjected to any sort of artificial light are inspected by International Organic Certification organizations, and the ingredients used in their feedstuff are periodically sent for analysis. As a part of our principle of organic production, the circulation areas in front of the coops are certified as well as the coops themselves.

We take our job seriously, give priority to public health and make simply and only organic production.

Organic Delicatessen


We have started Organic Sujuk production in July 2011, Organic Calf/Chicken Sausage production in June 2012 and Organic Salami production in April 2014 in Izmir.
Orvital Organic Food that relieves the mothers that try to keep their children away from sujuk, sausage and salami;

Produces organic delicatessen products processed only with salt and spices, and that do not contain any coloring agents or binding additives such as nitrate and phosphate.

Organic Legumes


In March 2014, beans, peas, red lentils, bulgur, macaroni and rice were included in the organic product portfolio of Orvital.

Shortening the distance between the farm and the dinner table, Orvital Organic Food also brings down the conception that "organic is expensive".
Legumes that contain high concentrations of vegetable proteins and that are rich in terms of vitamin B and various minerals, are included among significant nutrient groups also in terms of the high contents of fiber and low fat they contain.

Having started organic pasta production in the June 2014 and made its products available in Migros, Macrocenter, Tansaş and Carrefour, Ortivital put up the organic pasta on the market in the month of July. .

With the price policy it follows for organic macaroni, Orvital once again proved that organic and healthy nutrition is accessible.

Macaroni, currently the most consumed foodstuff and the dish most loved by children, is now produced organically by Orvital.

Love for rice with chicken stock generated a new product.

A consumer research made by Orvital Organic Food at chain stores has produced another new product to Orvital. Orvital, the first organic chicken breeder of Turkey produced chicken and red meat stock as well as organic vegetable stock as per directions of working mothers. The survey carried out at chain stores revealed that 80% of those buying organic chickens consists of women and 72% of the group is working. Working mothers’ reason to buy organic chicken is to cook soup and rice with chicken stock as a habit from their mothers…

Turkish organic brand, Orvital Organic Food continues to produce new products for domestic market while preparing for export. Orvital organic chicken, meat and vegetable stock put on the market with glass jar are available at Migros and Macrocenter. New products in glass jars consisting of organic bone-in meat (chicken/ calf), organic vegetable and only organic spices don’t contain any additives and preservatives. Organic red meat and chicken stocks contain broccoli, leek, celery, onion, garlic and carrot.
